2. Step 1: Sign in to Conncord
Create a Conncord account if you haven't already—its free and you don't need a credit card.
- Explain: Sign in using your HubSpot account.
- Mention free trial — no credit card required.
- Show where the “Get Started” button is.
Step 2: Connect Your HubSpot Account
- Walk through OAuth consent screen.
- Emphasize: “This only takes a click, and Conncord never stores your HubSpot credentials.”
- Call out what permissions are being granted (contacts, workflows, reports).
Once logged in, simply click on "Connect" under HubSpot in your Conncord dashboard.
Once logged in, choose the HubSpot account you'd like to use Conncord with:
Step 3: Connect Your Discord Server
Similarly, you'll need to add the Conncord bot to your Discord server. Start by clicking on "Connect" under Discord in your Conncord dashboard:
Here, choose the server you'd like to add Conncord to and click on "Continue":
Please note:
- Conncord needs to have Admin Permissions to work seamlessly with HubSpot's workflows.
Step 4: Try Your First Action
That was it for the set up! Next, let's create a HubSpot workflow that sends a notification to your sales channel whenever a known prospect visits a case study page on your website.
First, create a contact-based workflow with the following trigger:
Next, add a Conncord action as the next step in the workflow. We'll add the "Send a Message" workflow action:
Then, write the message you want to send when the workflow is triggered. We can include HubSpot properties in the message!
